St. Demetrios Seniors Association

This past month of January 2012, our Seniors Club met at Big Fish Restaurant to celebrate the New 2012 Year. We would like to thank the L. Tsaprailis Family along with their employees at Big Fish Restaurant for their wonderful service and hospitality.

Recently the Senior "Golden Club" Organization met for a Fall Coffee and Tea meeting. Discussions were made in regards to the future goals and events for the the 2011-2012 ecclesiastical year. There will be an upcoming road trip to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Monastery in Smith's Creek, MI, USA on Sunday, November 06, 2011 immediately following Divine Liturgy within our St. Demetrios Church of Sarnia. For all individuals who are interested please contact Fr. Demetre no later then Sunday, October 30, 2011. Are next meeting will take place on Thursday, October 27th, 2011 in our Church/Community hall.

During the Spring Lenten Season of 2010 Rev. Fr. Demetre Mouselimis
along with Stacey Liriotakis established our first St. Demetrios
Seniors Association in our community. Our first successful event was a
Sunday Evening Coffee and Tea Assembly. The purpose of this event was
to gather the senior members of our Christian community and to
celebrate a new beginning to this beautiful organization. We look
forward to the success of this Church-Community organization and we
pray that our Lord may bless all their future endeavours.
